Review: Ulta Eyeshadows

I have another product review for you all! I feel like this is an undiscovered amazing product -- and not many people seem to use them!
Ulta Eyeshadow

Alllll the pretty colors ;-)

Mystical - Plum Smoke - Sandstone

Please excuse my arm hairs! LOL Focus on the colors ;-)
Swatches are with MAC's Paintpot in Painterly as a base.

Gunmetal - Safari - Seashell

As you can tell by the pictures, I have been using these eyeshadows for quite some time. I was browsing at ULTA about a year ago when I decided I'd swatch these shadows. I was instantly impressed with their gorgeous color range, the price (very affordable, and they often have buy two get one free deals), and the pigmentation. ULTA has since changed the packaging, so they might look a little different, but the same great shades are still available.

Pros:
* Wide range of gorgeous colors!
* High pigmentation! I would even say that these shadows have better pigmentation than some of my MAC shadows. Some I use as MAC dupes as well! Seashell reminds me of MAC's Naked Lunch, Sandstone is similar to MAC's Satin Taupe, & Mystical is almost identical, if not better, than MAC's Twinks.
* Affordable! These are half the price of MAC shadows, but still good quality!
* With an eyeshadow primer, these last ALL DAY LONG & do not lose their intensity.

Cons:
* Extreme fallout will occur if you do not "pat" with your eyeshadow brush of choice. Fallout guaranteed when you apply too much with a crease brush. Just make sure you use a light hand! ;-)
* They will crease without the use of a good eyeshadow primer.

All in all, these are some of my favorite eyeshadows on the market. Go ahead and try them out, I bet you won't be disappointed! You can always return them if they don't live up to your expectations! :-)

Xoxo,
Carlene
